Dry Needling

A technique of inserting needles into the skin and underlying muscle tissue with the goal of releasing or inactivating trigger points to relieve pain or improve range of motion. Preliminary research supports that dry needling improves pain control, reduces muscle tension, and normalizes dysfunctions of the motor end plates, the sites at which nerve impulses are transmitted to muscles.

Cupping

A therapy where cups are placed on the skin to create suction to draw stagnant/noncirculating blood or toxins away from parts of the body and bring them to the surface of the skin to relieve pain or muscle spasms, inflammation, loosen tight muscles, increase blood flow, and promote overall healing.

Gua Sha

Gua sha is a natural, alternative therapy that involves scraping your skin with a massage tool to improve your circulation.
Gua sha is intended to address stagnant energy, called chi, in the body that practitioners believe may be responsible for inflammation. Rubbing the skin’s surface is thought to help break up this energy, reduce inflammation, and promote healing.

Dr. Bri has been going to the chiropractor since she was under 10 years old. She used to suffer from severe migraines and after running many tests, the doctors wanted to put her on medication for the rest of her life. As a last stitch effort, her mom tried a chiropractor. She never got sick from a migraine again. From a young age, Dr. Bri always knew she wanted to be a chiropractor. Dr. Bri has always been an athlete, in high school playing softball and volleyball. A core high school memory is when her softball team went on to be state runner ups. She graduated college from Bowling Green State University, majoring in Biology. In college, she started working in her local vision center and fun fact: is a dual licensed optician. She went on to go to LIFE University for Chiropractic school and graduated in June of 2022. She found an added passion in prenatal chiropractic getting certified in Webster’s Technique. After school, she certified in dry needling. Dr. Bri enjoys lifting weights and camping with her family in her free time. Dr. Bri is also a dog mom and has a passion for helping animals and would own a shelter if she could.
